A lot gets said on the internet about the weirdness of Boy Moms: those female parents who give obsessive preferential treatment to their male children. What doesn't always enter the conversation is their swapped gender equivalent. Weird parent-child relationships can happen all across the spectrum, and dads can't always be let off easy. There's just as much potential for things to become strange.
Case in point is a recent video that has been doing the rounds on Twitter. In it, a mom films her husband and teenage daughter as her daughter insists that she will never be as close to him as she is as a blood relation, "no matter how many times you sleep with him".
Unsurprisingly, the way in which this mom was being taunted did not impress many viewers. Questioning why the dad allowed this behavior, it all leaves a distinctly unsavory impression. Family dynamics don't have to be this screwed up.
